The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the effect of placement and additional income on the performance of state civil apparatus at Public Relations Bureau and Protocol of the Regional Secretariat of Central Sulawesi Province. This research was a quantitative approach, this research was carry out at Public Relations Bureau and Protocol of the Regional Secretariat of Central Sulawesi Province with a total sample of 40 samples taken by using total sampling method. The analysis technique used was Multiple Linear Regression, hypothesis testing using a significance level of a = 0.05 with the help of SPSS version 19.00. Test the validity of the corrected item-total correlation technique with a minimum requirement of r = 0.3. Reliability test used Cronbach Alpha coefficient with a coefficient limit of α > 0.6. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing indicate a positive and significant direct influence between Placement and Additional Income on the Performance of State Civil Apparatus at Public Relations Bureau and Protocol of the Regional Secretariat of Central Sulawesi Province, with a double coefficient of determination (R-Square / R2) Of 0.878 which is then corrected returned with the value of Adjusted R-Square of 0.771 indicating that the variable ability of placement and additional income explained the performance of the state civil apparatus of State Civil Apparatus at Public Relations Bureau and Protocol of the Regional Secretariat of Central Sulawesi Province on 77.1% while the rest explained other variables outside and variables in the research model. The conclusion obtained in this research is that Placement and Additional Income have a positive effect, both simultaneously and partially.
