The purpose of this study is: 1). To Analyze the trend of the development of Palu City inflation in the period 2010 - 2016; 2) To Analyze the development trend of Palu City per capita income for the period of 2010-2016; 3) To Analyze the trend of development of the real purchasing power of the Palu City Community in the period of 2010-2016; 4) To Analyze the development of inflation on the real purchasing power of the people of Palu City for the period of 2010-2016; and 5) To Analyze the development of Income Per Capita against the Purchasing Power of the people of the Palu City period 2010-2016.
To Answer the existing problems, the Trend analysis tool is used with time Series Data. The result of this study concluded that 1) The Trend of Inflation development in the Palu City has fluctuated down and up, but the Inflation rate is still in a conducive economic stage because the Inflation rate is still in a conducive economic stage because the Inflation rate is still below the two digit number; 2) The development Trend in per capita income of the Palu City continues to increase from year to year, so that explains that the Palu City is on the Path of improving economic growth; 3) The development Trend of the purchasing power of the Palu City continues to increase from year to year so it explains that the Palu City is on the path of improving economic growth; 4) The development of Palu City Inflation rate is still in good numbers so that the value of the purchasing power of the Palu City continues to increase from year to year during the analysis period; and 5) The development of Palu’s per capita income is directly propotional to the development of people’s purchasing power which continues to increase during the analysis period.
