ABSTRACT

Wawan Arfandhi Tenri with the tittle “ The Impact of Rock and Sand Mining Activities on Labor PT. Palu Indah Tehnik in Loli Oge Village, Donggala Districk”, which was guided by Mr. Dr. Muhtar Lutfi as the main supervisor and Ms. Farida Millias Tuty as the accompanying mentor.
Exploitation of natural resources by mining companies that do not appropriate and not environmentally friendly cause an impact social and economic especially for people in Loli Oge Village working in a stone and sand company. This research uses theory development and ecternalities see conditions before and after they are mning company. The methodology used is qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation and documentation study. Informants obtained are Government official, Mining companies and the local community. Data analysis in this study uses the interactive model of Miles and Hubberman is data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results show with the stone and sand mining company PT. Palu Indah Tehnik in Loli Oge Village it has social and economic impacts including opening up employment for the surrounding community, and increased income local society. The existence of a mining company PT. Palu Indah Tehnik reduce crime, especially theft in the region and provide a new source of strength in the economy, precisely for revenue public.
