ABSTRACT

ARLIANI.A C 101 14 161. With the title of the thesis "Analysis of Income and Function of Fishery Consumption in Labean Village, Balaesang District, Donggala Regency". Chief Adviser Mr. Haerul Anam and Adviser Advisor Ms. Santi Yunus.
This study aims to: (1) determine the amount of income of fishing communities in Labean Village, Balaesang District, Donggala Regency. (2) knowing the level of welfare of fishing communities in Labean Village, Balaesang District, Donggala Regency on the income earned. (3) knowing the effect of income on fisherman consumption in Labean Village, Balaesang District, Donggala Regency. The data used in this study are primary data. The population in this study were all 25 traditional fishermen in Labean Village. Data were analyzed using income analysis, fisherman exchange rate analysis (NTN) and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) the average net income of Labean Village fishermen was Rp. 2,097,000 / month. 2) the results of the fisherman's exchange rate of 0.97 indicate that the fishermen's family has low purchasing power to meet their daily needs or that the fishermen in Labean Village are not yet prosperous. 3) the effect of income on the consumption of Labean Village fishermen has a positive but not significant influence where the effect only reaches 4.8% while the remaining 95.2% is influenced by variables not examined.
